- Clean CarFax* - Introduced in James Bond’sGolden Eye
This was the first BMW to be solely manufactured outside ofGermany in Greer, South Carolina.
James Bond fans will remember the car James drove in GoldenEye which, was a newly introduced BMW made in the United States.
Neiman Marcus offered 20 units in specialJames Bond edition that included a special dash plaque, floor mats andwheels.
Demand exceeded estimates andanother 80 units were ordered to meet demand.
This particular Z3 was ordered before anyone really knewwhat the Z3 would look like. The current and ONLY owner (25 years ownership)has enjoyed this car driving it carefully in the upstate of South Carolina justa few miles from where it was built.
Theodometer shows 114,000 miles.
The carhas been serviced and maintained by the Dealer and a reputable independent BMWshop.
The transmission was replaced at60k miles and the Catalytic Converter was replaced at 96k. The Green metallicpaint is complimented with sand tan interior.
The original radio has been upgraded to an Alpine unit with CD AM/FM andBluetooth. *The Carfax shows no accidents but the owner recalls a back bumperincident in 2005 and a front bumper incident in 2016. Both were carefullyrepaired and neither were a major event.
Always garaged, the paint and original soft top are in very nice shape.
A solid BMW 1.9 liter straight four and a 5 speed manualtransmission make top down driving a pleasure for years to come.
