ANTIQUE KINKOZAN SATSUMA KOGO, SIGNED KINKOZAN ZO, MTS. & RIVER FINE PAINTED

Description

I just received this lovely small signed Kinkozan round box and am amazed by the delicacy of the brush work, the fine detail created by the smallest of brushes and minute hand work.  It measures approx 3 7/8" in diameter and 1 1/8" H. You see the mountain and river scene, the buildings and trees.  Note the gilded waist, perfectly painted and mint.  There is one minor flaw in a flea bite on the bottom edge of the cover which you see in the last photo.  This piece dates from the late 19th to early 20th C.  The mark is clearly present.
