Antique Vantines Japanese Wooden Lacquer Hand Painted Jewelry Box Armoire

Up for sale is an Antique Japanese Hand Painted wooden Lacquerware Jewelry Box that depicts a Miniature Dresser/Wardrobe Closet. Circa 1900-1920s.
The box features hand painted birds and flowers and a nice gold base layer and lacquered finish. There are 2 doors that open up to 3 small drawers and there is one larger drawer beneath the doors. The base is marked "MADE IN JAPAN".
There is wear to the paint and chipping/abrasions throughout as seen in the photos. The door with the key hole doesn't latch to the catchment on the other door, so the door with the key hole does not stay closed, with some time and patience this could probably be fixed or a work-around could be made. The large bottom drawer is missing its handle and the key is missing (any small single prong skeleton key will work with it). Overall it still displays nicely and could display beautifully with a little TLC.
Measurements are approximately:
7 3/8" Tall.
5 3/4" Wide.
3 1/8" Deep.
This is an antique item and may have manufacturers imperfections which do not affect the display of the piece.
