Description:
This pipe is made of wood covered with buckskin and glass beads and trimmed with a beaded drape and feathers. Deer or elk horn is used for the bowl. The beading is by hand. The pipe is handcrafted and each one is unique in bead and buckskin color as well as bead-work details.

Interpretation:
Tribal chiefs and medicine men use a sacred pipe in ceremonial events to honor Spirits of the past and the future and to ask blessings for peace in the universe.

Each pipe is hand-made and therefore will be unique. The pipe you receive will be very similar to the image shown but may vary in leather color, bead-work, and antler details. Our supplier purchases dozens of pipes with each order but supplies us with one 'in-general' image to work with. Please understand they have thousands of items and do not have the time to image every individual piece. Personally I like the idea that each pipe is slightly different and I hope you too will appreciate owning something unique and one-of-a kind.

Damaged During Transit:
Mishaps can occur when shipping some of the more fragile items. If there is any damage to your merchandise, the recipient must notify the carrier (UPS or USPS) and Downriver Sales within 5 business days. All packaging must be retained until shipper can inspect damages.

In the unlikely event the item was sold offline previous to your purchase we will contact you immediately. If the item is a one-of a kind piece we will cancel the sale and refund your account. In some cases items are created in multiples with slight variations in design (different color patterns, variations in mineral distribution in stones, etc). In such cases we may present you with the option to choose one of these variations.
