Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Floral Painted Trinket Box

Description

A Japanese cloisonne enamel trinket box. Features a unique heart shape and vibrant red and pink floral motifs. Likely dates to first quarter of 20th century. Has some surface pitting and minor hairlines inside the box that appear to be from production. In good overall condition with some minor losses and wear consistent with age (see photos). Measures approximately 2.75" (width) x 1.25"(height) x 2.25". Weight is approximately 85 grams.
