Up for consideration is a Native American Indian very special medicine rattle . The rattle is totally hand made. It is made from a gourd, deerskin, and beads. The stitch pattern is called a peyote stitch , which is one of the ritual it was used for. The rattle is 15 inches long and with fringe 28 inches. It's in very good condition. It's very well constructed. It must have taken many hours to make. It has a good sound. All traditional.Made with much skill and reverence. A very nice piece.
