    Not an endangered species of turtle this is a Trachemys scripta elegans or Red-eared slider which is an invasive species here in the Northwest and is devastating our native turtle populations.

    Please note interior of turtles can be sharp at times as the shells are thick and areas can be rough, not recommended for young folks. I have lined it with wool to help this.
