Plains Indian-Style Porcupine Quillwork. Indiancraft.
For auction, a porcupine quilled Medicine Wheel. This is the more ornate Double-Wheel type. The quills have been wrapped on ca 1/4 inch wide rawhide. It was NOT made by a Native American!
It is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter; it has been been dyed with vintage dyes—and is suitable for vintage-style craftwork OR modern craftwork.
