Additional Information:
This is an extremely beautiful vintage drum set! It has some light cracks and scratches specifically around the hardware on the laminate. You cannot even see them until you are right up on them. The drum shells are in good shape. One of the legs for the floor tom is mis-matched as is the tightening screw. The muffler knob on the 12" tom tom we cannot get to turn. The other mufflers on the other toms are working well and all have good felts. There is some light pitting and a couple of spots of rust on the hoops. Overall they have some typical player wear but nothing has been pushed super far out of round or stick marked like crazy. There is a small split starting in the bass drums wooden hoop on the clear head side (see pics). The bottom head of the floor tom does have a small tear in it. With a little clean up this should be an incredible little drum set!

general wear (nicks, sticks marks, and/or minor dings).  All of the hoops are Slingerland Stick Saver hoops.  The bottom hoop of the 13" tom tom has some rust and pitting and some slight push in around the rust spot. The bass drum has wooden hoops and overall the hoops are in good shape.  Some of the laminate stripping is missing out of each hoop on the bass drum and they could potentially stand to be re-painted as it has typical wear to the paint.  There is one point on the hoop with the clear head on the bass drum where the hoop has started to split (see pics).

If you are not completely satisfied with your Musical Instrument City purchase, please contact us.  If you would like to return your purchase, for any reason, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return it with the original box and packing material with the following refund restrictions:

Incomplete Return:
The item will be inspected upon return and if any original parts or pieces are missing you will be contacted to send the missing items back.  If you are unable to return the missing item/part, you forfeit the refund.  All partial items that have been returned will also be forfeited and will be the property of Musical Instrument City.

Damage during Outbound Shipping:
In the unfortunate chance your item is damaged, the following procedure must be followed exactly in order to process a refund. Failure to comply with the following procedures constitutes a violation of the return policy and therefore a refund will not be given. Please contact us immediately. Save everything, including the box, packing materials, and shipping label. Without the original box and packing materials, a claim cannot be made, and a refund will not be issued. Take a full set of pictures so the damage can be assessed. Don’t send anything back yet until we contact our insurance company.  We will tell you when you may ship the item back.  Please see instructions for return shipping below. If it is determined that the item was damaged in shipping, we will send you a return shipping label via eBay Messages.  Refunds will not be issued for merchandise, which has been damaged while in your possession.

Damage during Return Shipping:
The item will be inspected upon return and if the item is damaged during return shipping, we will contact you so you can file an insurance claim.  Because you are the shipper, we cannot initiate a claim.  Depending upon how much damage was sustained you may only get a partial refund or no refund due to the damage.

In order to receive a refund our policy requires you to put insurance on the item for its return shipping.

Please use the original packing material and box.  Please use original packing material inside the case around the item.  Also use the original packing material around the case in the box to protect the item from shipping damage. If your item does not have a case, please use all packing material that the item came with to protect the item from shipping damage.

Uninsured packages or items shipped “COD” or “Shipping Due” will be refused and a refund will not be issued.

Once the item is received, we will conduct a physical inspection. This inspection will determine your eligibility for a refund.
