We sold out of these but stumbled across a few more in our warehouse
Used in nice condition with scuffs from
typical
use

data plate
on them!
This was originally issued with the AN/PAS-6 (Metascope) Infrared viewer for covert
illumination (Vietnam era).
These rugged waterproof IR light sources have many modern day applications.
The IR light they project can be viewed as visible illumination for most CCD TV
cameras.  Starlight style night vision gear will also see this light and will greatly amplify
it,  for covert illumination as well as being
view-able
from any Infra-Red scope or viewer.
The light has a very high quality filter which only allows the (invisible to the naked eye)
Infrared light to exit.
Unit has a waterproof  3 position toggle switch.
Momentary on,
off
and constant on.
It uses 2 standard D cell batteries.  It has a standard
flashlight bulb.
O-ring
gasketed
battery door and front lens.
2 Stainless Steel tabs were for mounting the light on the
Metascope IR Viewer.
Lens may be removed for use on other IR projects.
