misspelling on a commercial copy of VJ 498? A BEATTLES 498 Disc Jockey White label copy!
Label tear from someone removing the Vee Jay numbered label seen intact on the "Ask Me Why" side.
Judging from the quality control official Vee-Jay sticker I would suggest this is either a limited press for Vee-Jay executives to determine mastering quality on their promotional release to radio. A regular DJ copy wouldn't have this matrix or test pressing sticker.
So, except for the tear on Side 1's sticker removal, this particular DJ copy has a deeper even more important history as to who this record belonged to originally.

than any re-issues from Capitol.
