    Item Description :
    This is a vintage Japanese lacquered wooden writing box, which was made about 50 years ago.
    This writing box is made of natural wood, and coated with high quality Japanese lacquer (Not plastic one).
    An ink stone, a calligraphy brush (brand-new one), a calligraphy water pot, 'suiteki' and ink stick are also included.
    Plum tree is molded and painted on the upper side of the wooden lid by Maki-e technique.
